Giving to OLLI

All donations to OLLI@UGA go to support our mission and help keep costs reasonable so that as many as wish to can participate.

OLLI@UGA is fortunate to have an endowment from the Osher Foundation, as well as operational support from the University of Georgia and the Mary Frances Early College of Education. The Osher Foundation money only covers a quarter of our annual expenses. As a result, we must raise funds from membership dues, course and activity fees, and donations from corporate sponsors and members.

OLLI@UGA is a community in which adults 50+ can thrive, learn, and continue to explore this world and make an impact. All gifts are gratefully received and there are several means through which to make a donation.

The OLLI@UGA Annual Fund Campaign engages members and highlights the immediate budgetary needs of the organization, which may range from outreach programs to the purchase of new technology.

• Contributions can be made in honor or memory of a loved one
• Celebrate a birthday, anniversary or holiday by requesting donations in lieu of gifts
• Donations are tax deductible
• Contributions over $1,500 will be recognized by the Mary Frances Early College of Education and the University of Georgia

Thank you to our Donors for 2019-20 - please see a full list here.

Did you know you can leave a lasting legacy through OLLI@UGA?

There are many types of planned gifts that will allow you to continue to support OLLI, while lowering the tax burden on you and your heirs. The most common type of planned gift is a bequest in your will or living trust, but your financial advisor can outline other options.

Please contact OLLI@UGA executive director Tim Meehan, (706) 542-7715, for more information about giving to the program, either as a planned gift for later or a major gift now.

OLLI@UGA is housed and supported by the Mary Frances Early College of Education.
