OLLI@UGA appreciates all types of instructors: those who have taught in a university or other educational institution, as well as those who have not taught before but have a particular art, hobby or interest to share. OLLI@UGA faculty and students enjoy exploring intellectual issues together without the pressure of exams and grades.
“Speaking to an OLLI class helps me as a scholar and as someone thinking critically about the news media and its role in society. OLLI classes are filled with bright, engaged, well-read learners eager to interact with you – and that focuses the mind. I find every encounter incredibly rewarding.” Charles Davis (Dean – Grady College of Journalism).
