Class Host Orientation & Training – Join Host Coordinators, Toni & Chris Jones as they guide you through the steps to be a successful class host. October 3, 2 PM, River’s Crossing. No RSVP necessary.

Fall Serendipity: Behind & In Front of the Screen with Chasing Coral:  Monday, October 2 join Dr. Jim Porter at a special OLLI@UGA talk where he will discuss the film Chasing Coral. A film about the effects of climate change on coral reefs which won the Audience Choice Award at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival.  During the class, Dr. Porter will describe his on-camera contributions to the film, provide a behind-the-scenes look at Sundance, and describe some exciting new science that has emerged from the film. Then join the cast on October 4, at the Athens premier held at the UGA Tate Center. Registration for this free event opens September 8. RSVP Now

Fall Beerganza & Pig Roast: Thursday, October 12, 5 PM.  Join fellow OLLIs for a pig-roast dinner at Southern Brewing Company. The ticket covers your dinner plate and if interested, OLLI members can purchase special “beer-bands” for $10 direct from SBC. Registration opens September 8. Register Now.

Halloween Dutch Treat Luncheon: October 31, 11:30 – 1:00 PM. OLLI@UGA members and their guests are invited to this popular holiday luncheon at George’s Lowcountry Restaurant. Space is limited — RSVP directly to Kat Haney ( or Iris Miracle, today. Costumes optional but encouraged.
